Solar panels, water recycling systems, and energy-efficient buildings are no longer expensive rarities. They're accessible. The problem is that understanding them well enough to make good decisions still requires wading through dense technical documentation, sales pitches, or engineering forums. We decided to fix that.
Built in Francistown, focused on southern Africa
SavutiCloud was founded in Francistown, Botswana, because that's where the team lives and works. Southern Africa has enormous potential for solar adoption. The climate is ideal, the technology is available, and costs have fallen significantly over the past decade. What's often missing is clear, accessible information.
We noticed that homeowners and small business owners were making decisions based on incomplete information, relying entirely on installer recommendations, or simply delaying decisions because the whole topic felt overwhelming. None of those are good outcomes.
So we built a learning platform focused on one thing: helping you understand enough to make informed choices. We're not installers. We don't sell equipment. We teach.
